Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich is pleased to announce the library's 2017-2019 Strategic Plan, now available at both branches of the Greece Public Library and on our website. The plan serves to provide a framework for fulfilling the library's mission - to engage, inspire, and inform - in ways that are meaningful to the community.
Plan development began in December 2015 and involved community input gathered during three community focus groups held in June 2016, as well as from a survey completed by nearly 1300 Greece residents.
In addition to the four service priorities which are identified and outlined in the plan, new enhancements have already been made to library services including a coffee, tea, and hot chocolate bar, and a new catalog kiosk. Hold fees have been reduced from $1 to 50¢ per item.
We encourage you to take a look at our new Strategic Plan to find out more about our upcoming goals and our library mission. Each of these priorities has been developed with you in mind. Many thanks to those who participated in the survey and in our focus groups!
