Meet Claire

Hi! I'm librarian Claire and I've worked with teens at the Greece Public Library for over 10 years. I purchase all teen collections, and books for tweens. One of my favorite aspects of the job is mentoring the Teen Advisory Board with my co-worker Karen. I also plan teen programming and facilitate two adult book discussion groups at the library, plan author visits, and promote reading through "Book Breaks" and reading challenges. I love to read, and especially enjoy a good thriller, historical fiction, and books featuring contemporary issues that I can discuss with my book groups. When I'm not reading, I enjoy nature photography and traveling.  

Meet Karen

Hi everyone! My name is Karen and I am one of the Children’s Librarians here at the Greece Public Library. I have worked for the library for nearly eight years and specialize in Early Literacy Education. I enjoy sharing my love of reading and lifelong learning with the community. I think the library is one of the best places to be!

You will find me hosting the Tween Book Club, Teen Advisory Board, Makers Club and a variety of STEAM programs for Tweens ages 9 - 12. I also offer the Books and Beyond Story Time for all ages on Tuesday mornings. My favorite story time activity is sharing books and playing with scarves!

I enjoy finding great books for the children’s collections I manage. My favorite children’s author is Tomie dePaola. I would love to help you find the perfect book!
