Story Garden Teen Volunteer Application Thank you for your interest in becoming a Story Garden volunteer. Teen volunteers must be between the ages of 13-19. Volunteer Duties: • Monitoring activity in the Story Garden, including play areas and activity rooms. • Maintaining the safety of the play space by collecting toys, general organizing and cleaning. • Alerts staff to any issues that arise. • Other duties as assigned. Volunteer Job Expectations: • Enjoy working with children and families. • Possess a friendly, helpful attitude. • Be prompt and dependable. • Be responsible and adaptable. • Be able to take direction from library staff. • Be willing to do other library tasks as needed. • Be able to independently interact with the public. • Be available to volunteer in 2 hour shifts. • Be available to volunteer AT LEAST twice a month.
